Where did you grow up:  I moved to Boxford when I was almost 12. Before that, I lived in California, New York, Maryland and Ohio

Favorite Sports Team: Red Sox

Favorite Candy:  Twizzlers 

Favorite Snacks: Popcorn, all kinds of nuts, cheese

Favorite Subject when in Elementary School: Math

Family & Pets:  My oldest daughter, Grace, is 22 and just started graduate school at Roger Williams for her Master's of Architecture. My younger daughter, Annie, just moved to Houston, Texas, with her lizard and a new kitten. I also have a stepson who works with my husband doing tree service. 

What made you want to become an educator/school staff? 

I love being around children, helping them learn something new, and seeing their perspective as a young child. 

When You’re Not at School What Do You Like to Do?   

I love to play volleyball, watch and occasionally coach basketball, read, play cards, and spend time at our family log cabin in Vermont.  

If You Weren’t in Your Current Position, What Would You Be Doing?  

If I weren't an educator, I would be a professional basketball coach. 

Wish for this upcoming year? 

My wish is that all students and staff feel safe, supported, and excited to learn and grow this school year 

What was your last vacation and what made it great?

Every summer I spend two weeks in Sea Isle City, New Jersey, at the beach, with my youngest sister and her family and my college roommate, Laurie, who is still my best friend. We read, do puzzles, and laugh a lot. This summer, another one of my sisters came for a long weekend with her family along with two of my friends from home. I love the beach and spending time with family! 

What is something interesting about yourself?

I am the second oldest of 7 kids- I have an older sister, three younger sisters, and younger twin brothers.
